Under Graduate Programmes

• Established in 1987 

• Skilled based papers are introduced at under graduate level. Konkani Media, Translation and Teaching Methodology.   

• The department is having 100% results for last 21 years at T. Y. B. A.  

• Along with academics the Department is actively involved in conducting literary and cultural activities for the all-round development of the students. 

• Community Outreach Program - Street plays was organized at several schools to enlighten students on various social issues like Garbage, Girl Child, Elections, Corruption, and Environmental Pollution etc.  

• The Department is closely associated with Directorate of Official Language, Government of 

Goa, Goa Konkani Academy and Konkani Bhasha Mandal  

• The Department has its  own  newsletter ‘Piki Piki Kajule 

• The biggest strength of our department is our well learned and dedicated Staff. (03 Ph.D holder staff)
